✨ About this walk

🌿 Gapyeong is the green day trip east of Seoul: a lake and river valley with islands, gardens and themed villages, all in one county. The map is on its way; here is what will be on it.

The seven stops are spread over a wide area, so this is a pick two or three kind of day, not a single walk.

🚶 The route

Petite France: a French-themed village on the hillside.
Morning Calm Arboretum: the garden of the morning calm, for a slow walk among the plantings.
Jara Island: a long island in the river, flat and open.
Gapyeong Rail Park: rides on the old railway line.
Italian Village: an Italian-style village to stroll through.
Homyeong Lake: a mountain lake with a view over the valley.
Nami Island: the famous tree-lined island, reached by boat.
